WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a big step...
Investing in sleep support is a considered decision, and it should be.

Sleep is not a behavioural issue to “fix”. It is a biological process, driven by circadian rhythm, sleep pressure, neurological development, and environmental inputs. When one or more of these are misaligned, sleep becomes fragmented and difficult to sustain.

My approach is grounded in current, evidence-based research across infant sleep science, neuroscience, nutrition, and early development.
I don’t apply generic methods ( they just don't work)! I assess and address the underlying drivers of your baby’s sleep and stay with you until they are resolved!

What to Expect When You Book
When it comes to sleep training, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every baby has their own temperament, sensitivities, and way of responding. That’s why I don’t lock families into a rigid method for weeks on end, hoping it will eventually work.

Here's what makes my approach different
1. Comprehensive sleep assessment
You will complete a detailed sleep assessment questionnaire prior to our consult.
This captures your baby’s full 24-hour pattern, including sleep timing, feeding, environment, developmental stage, and behavioural patterns.
This allows me to analyse sleep through a clinical lens, identifying where circadian rhythm, sleep pressure, or external factors may be contributing to disrupted sleep.
1: Zoom Consultation

We then meet for a comprehensive consultation where I walk you through exactly what is happening, and why.
You will gain a clear understanding of the biological and behavioural drivers behind your baby’s sleep, and what needs to change to support more consolidated, restorative sleep.
This is also an opportunity to discuss your preferences, parenting approach, and any concerns, so the plan is both evidence-based and realistic for your family.
3. Individualised sleep plan
Following our consult, you will receive a fully tailored, step-by-step plan (included in all packages except the one-off call).
This is built specifically for your baby, not from a template.
It includes:
-
Age-appropriate sleep structure and timing
-
Feeding recommendations where relevant
-
Environmental adjustments to support melatonin production and reduce night waking
-
A clear, responsive approach to settling and overnight waking
-
Precise guidance on implementation
4. Implementation and on going support
This is where outcomes are achieved.
Sleep is not improved by information alone. It requires consistent, well-timed implementation.
I provide ongoing, high-touch support while you implement the plan, adjusting in real time based on your baby’s response.
This ensures we are not following a rigid method, but responding appropriately as sleep consolidates.
This level of support is what allows for faster, more sustainable results.
This level of flexibility and support from me is intentional, and it is what allows for better outcomes.

Infant sleep is not linear, and it cannot be addressed effectively through rigid, one-size-fits-all methods.
A responsive, evidence-based approach allows us to adjust in line with your baby’s neurological development, temperament, and real-time response to change.
